Peace Train

Recuerdo ir en el carro con mis papás y mi tía, y si mi memoria no falla, recorríamos las calles en Las Lomas, allá en el DF. Y sentada en el asiento trasero de la camioneta lo escuché por primera vez: Cat Stevens. Eso sí, no recuerdo qué canción era, pero era él. Años después, en un día como hoy, desempolvé el recuerdo de aquella agradable y suave melodía, y junto con ello, las melodías en sí y me dediqué el día entero a escuchar y tararear las canciones del señor Stevens.

Peace Train es la letra que pegué abajo; una canción, que a mi parecer, queda como anillo al dedo para estos días de tribulaciones mundiales, guerras, matanzas y discordias. Llámenme una soñadora-pacifista-optimista-empedernida, pero esta canción me hace ver el sol entre la tormenta y me hace sentir que todo estará bien. Sí, es de ese tipo de canciones -y tanta falta que hacen hoy en día-.
